Telling Tales

Jael Richardson is the author of The Stone Thrower, a story inspired by her father Chuck Ealey- the legendary Hamilton Tiger-Cat quarterback. Jael is also a book columnist on CBC’s “q” and the founder and Executive Director of the Festival of Literary Diversity in Brampton. Join Jael as she presents her latest picture book Because You Are. Written as a letter to her younger self, her story captures hard-earned lessons about growing up, being joyful, and loving yourself.

Purchase a copy of Because You Are at Different Drummer Books (on-site), and Jael will sign it at the nearby Autograph Tent, beginning at 11:45 AM
